ROYAL AIR FORCE LAKENHEATH, England -- An F-15E Strike Eagle from the 48th Fighter Wing flies over the North Sea after an aerial refueling during an exercise Dec. 13, 2012. Helicopter makes precautionary landing

SANTON DOWNHAM, England -- A 48th Fighter Wing HH-60G Pave Hawk takes off from a field Nov. 7, 2012 after making a precautionary landing the night before. The helicopter made the landing due to smoke in the cockpit from a failed windshield wiper motor. Following emergency procedures, the pilot landed the aircraft with no injuries.
