ROYAL AIR FORCE LAKENHEATH, England --   This year's 48th Fighter Wing Annual Awards banquet was held inside Hangar 7 at RAF Lakenheath, Feb. 8. The nominees' apprehension came to a close after dinner was served and the winners were named.

The 48th FW Airmen are recognized for their dedication, accomplishments, and above-the-ordinary performance both on and off duty. The Annual Awards winners for the 48th FW are:

Honor Guard Member of the Year: Senior Airman Erika Rodriguez, 48th Maintenance Group

Military Volunteer of the Year: Capt. Zackery Kalinauskas, 48th Medical Group

Civilian Volunteer of the Year: Katherine Moore, 48th Force Support Squadron Airmen and Family Readiness Center

Civilian Category II of the Year: Allen Fry, 48th Mission Support Group

Civilian Category I of the Year: Jackie Jaggard, 48th Mission Support Group

Field Grade Officer of the Year: Maj. Charles Kistler, 48th Operations Group

Company Grade Officer of the Year: Capt. Annie Driscoll, 48th Fighter Wing Safety Office

First Sergeant of the Year: Master Sgt. Jose Nevarez, 48th Mission Support Group

Senior NCO of the Year: Senior Master Sgt. Daniel Guzman, 48th Mission Support Group

NCO of the Year: Tech. Sgt. Gerardo Valdez, Jr., 48th Maintenance Group

Airman of the Year: Airman 1st Class Michael Weston, 48th Operations Group
