The nationally recognized week promotes and highlights the hard working efforts that nurses dedicate to quality patient care. “Our nurses work really hard, but it’s a wonderful career and they are very much appreciated by the patients they treat,” said Col. Jeanine Hatfield, 48th Medical Group Chief Nurse. Throughout the week, 48 MDG Airmen had the opportunity to meet with members of the Royal College of Nursing, as well as take a trip to Florence Nightingale museum to immerse themselves in the steep history of their profession. “To be in London at the Florence Nightingale museum during Nurse/Tech week was absolutely amazing,” said Hatfield. The week of events was concluded with a comedic and musical performance by “Nurse Humorist,” held at the Eagles Landing ballroom.
