How does the individual portray that core value?

Perez epitomizes the Air Force core value of "Excellence in All We Do" by striving toward perfection while accomplishing his assigned duties and task. No matter the challenge, Perez is the first person to volunteer. He is incharge of receiving wing deployment requirements, coordinating information with units and updating statuses with headquarters. As soon as his career development courses were complete, he enrolled in college to complete his bachelor's degree. Perez is a leader in the community and was recently elected as dorm council vice president.

Why is serving in the Air Force important to you?

Serving in the Air Force is important to me because I was given a career with the opportunity to travel and become part of something bigger than myself.

What accomplishment during your Air Force career are you most proud of?

I came into the Air Force speaking very little English. I am proud that I have improved my English-speaking skills and am able to learn my job as a logistics planner, despite the language barrier.

What are your personal and/or professional goals?

A personal and professional goal is to finish my bachelor's degree in logistics.

What is your favorite part of your job?

Working and interacting with different people around the base.
