ANNOUNCEMENTS

Effective May 1, 2013 the RAF Lakenheath GSA Store will be closing its doors. RAF Lakenheath is moving away from the "GSA store" model due to cost effectiveness and manning concerns. Items sold are available at the GSA advantage catalog and online store. Customers are encouraged to take advantage of the assets currently in stock at the RAFL store, since most of them are available at heavily discounted prices. Questions or concerns in regards to this matter can be directed to MSgt Daniel Guzman at 226-2598/5471 daniel.guzman@lakenheath.af.mil.

Contest entries will be accepted through 29 March 2013 and the winner will be announced on or before April 30, 2013. Coin design submissions for the 2013 campaign season will be accepted from eligible participants (ID card required for verification) electronically in .jpg or .pdf formats. Artwork will be judged on originality, depiction of the theme of the CFC-O and suitability for printing on the coin. Interested designers can obtain detailed instructions and submission guidelines by visiting the CFC-O website at www.cfcoverseas.org.
