How does the individual portray that core value?

Gill's dedication to excellence proved invaluable as a key member of the 48th Contracting Squadron end of year closeout team. She spearheaded 11 service and supply contracts, valued in excess of $731,000, directly contributing to RAFs Lakenheath and Mildenhall mission operability. Her meticulous contract administration and oversight ensured services were awarded without any delays or cost overruns. Additionally, she selflessly assisted co-workers with contract execution and reviews whereby ensuring time sensitive contracts were awarded on time and on cost.

Why is serving in the Air Force important to you?

Giving something back to my country and knowing that what I do every day is important to many people.

What accomplishment during your Air Force career are you most proud of?

I am most proud of deploying for Operation Unified Response in support of the Haiti disaster relief.

What are your personal and/or professional goals?

To obtain my bachelor's degree, earn my contracting level II certification, and continue to improve my leadership skills and job knowledge.

What is your favorite part of your job?

Helping the war-fighter obtain mission essential contract services and commodities, as well as being able to learn about the many different job fields for procurement purposes. I enjoy seeing the end product of a contract and knowing it is helping my fellow Airmen get the job done.
