Hobbies: Running, reading and playing basketball and football Core Value Portrayed: "Excellence in All We Do" How does the individual portray that core value? Through hard work, dedication and some extra studying, McFarlin obtained a 95 percent on his initial duty position qualification test; a feat not often achieved by Airmen on their first attempt. He was also selected to brief the top security forces officer and enlisted members on his duty position as an entry controller at the Detachment 4 entry control facility. Why is serving in the AF important to you? I am proud to be serving my country and being a part of something bigger than I am. What accomplishment during your AF career are you most proud of? My proudest moment was earning my beret. What are your personal and professional goals? My personal goals are to learn as much as possible about criminal justice so I can utilize my experience and my training for a law enforcement career when I'm done serving. My professional goal is to broaden my horizon and see where this career takes me. What is your favorite part of your job? I really enjoy the law enforcement aspect of my career field. I like being the person others turn to when they need help. I enjoy always having to be ready to protect others from potential threats. I like being in the spotlight and setting a good example for children.
