In accordance with the new guidance set forth by the Chief of Staff of the Air Force, Headquarters Air Force, United States Air Forces in Europe, and Col. Kyle Robinson, 48th Fighter Wing commander, the mandatory uniform of the day for Mondays will no longer be blues.

The CSAF and COMUSAFE have agreed upon giving more flexibility to commanders on mandatory Monday uniforms.

"My commanders in the field have the same leeway, and will set the policy for their individual units based on ops tempo and local conditions," said Gen. Phillip Breedlove, USAFE commander.

Effective immediately, the UOD for Mondays is flight suit or ABUs, said Col. Robinson.

Every Airman is expected to maintain serviceable service dress and blues uniforms in accordance with Air Force Instruction 36-2903 and the subsequent USAFE supplement.
