How does the individual portray that core value?

Shelton was the sole Contingency Contracting Officer supporting the 2012 NATO Icelandic Air Policing mission. He was able to save the government $140,000 off the estimated support costs. During this mission, his hard work and dedication was recognized when he was coined by the 493rd Expeditionary Fighter Squadron commander as a top performer.

Why is serving in the Air Force important to you?
Serving in the Air Force is important to me because the 'warrior ethos' creates a family atmosphere that helps Airmen thrive on and off duty. The Air Force also provided me with the tools necessary to become a better person.

What accomplishment during your Air Force career are you most proud of?
I am proud of my involvement and the job knowledge I gain while working on U.K. wide custodial service contracts.

What are your personal and/or professional goals?
My personal goal is to travel the entire globe.

What is your favorite part of your job?

The best part is my co-workers and the deployment opportunities afforded in my career field.
