How does the individual portray that core value?

Sergeant Barrett voluntarily takes on important additional duties such as being the Air Force Assistance Fund representative and unit airfield driving manager in addition to his primary duties involving safety of flight.

Why is serving in the Air Force important to you?

I enjoy the feeling that what I do on a daily basis is helping protect the U.S. and our allies.

What accomplishment during your Air Force career are you most proud of?

The accomplishment I'm most proud of is deploying to Iraq in 2008 to prepare the TPN-19 radar for transport to depot after five years in air traffic control service.

What are your personal and/or professional goals?

My goals are to complete my Bachelor of Science degree in Electronic Engineering and to become a volunteer firefighter upon return to the states.

What is your favorite part of your job?

My favorite part is the feeling of accomplishment that comes with knowing that my duties directly impact flying operations.
