Interested in cycling? Join the 48th Fighter Wing Cycling Club. The club is a small group of people that meet on Saturdays to go on road and trail rides that range both in distance and difficulty. Rides are typically on back roads and trails are in Thetford Forest. There are two cycling groups, one for average speeds of 16-20 miles per hour and one for average speeds of 10-15 miles per hour. American Red Cross relocation The American Red Cross Office has relocated from building 950 to building 872 on the first floor. The new building is on Rochester Rd. to the rear of the Lakenheath High School. The hours of operation will be from 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday. New rules for driving through France Effective July 1, 2012, all drivers in France are required to have a breathalyzer test kit in their vehicle. This will apply to anyone driving in or through France. Starting Nov. 1, 2012, any driver not carrying the approved kit will be fined €11 on-the-spot. One-time-use breathalyzers can be purchased for about €5 at gas stations and supermarkets throughout France. New RAF Feltwell Veterinary Clinic hours The RAF Feltwell Veterinary Clinic hours have changed to the following: Monday through Friday - 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. They also offer at least two evening clinics per month from 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. and one Saturday clinic per month from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. These exceptions are only offered for wellness appointments. Basic surgical services are normally offered Monday through Thursday. For more information, call 226-7097. New Allergy/Immunizations Clinic hours The Allergy/Immunizations Clinic hours have changed to the following: Mondays - 7:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Tuesdays - 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Wednesday - 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Thursdays and Fridays - 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. For more information, please call 226-8148. Passport Issuance limitations for 2012 Due to the Olympics and Para-Olympics this summer, the Embassy will be heavily involved and will have reduced manpower. This will limit the ability to process passport applications. Passport issuance will be very limited, so if your passport is near its expiry date, apply as early as possible to get a new one. As a judge, you will provide feedback and evaluate the student projects related to the theme, 'Revolution, Reaction, Reform in History'. Projects will be presented as exhibits, websites, documentaries, performances or written papers. Judging information will be sent out one week in advance.
