How does the individual portray that core value?
Ochoa displays "Excellence in All We Do" on a daily basis, both on and off duty. Some of his recent contributions include managing the 48th Mission Support Group's budget to ensure six squadrons met 100 percent of their home and overseas contingency operations. Also he completed his entire course-14 senior non-commissioned officer professional military education in less than two weeks. Why is serving in the Air Force important to you?
It is an honor to serve and uphold a strong tradition that reinforces our nation's heritage and defends her freedom. The camaraderie alone that we all benefit from having is something you won't find anywhere else it gives me a great sense of pride.

What accomplishment during your Air Force career are you most proud of?
To be honest, I couldn't pinpoint just one. Every day of my career is an accomplishment and for that, I'm very proud. I have a real sense of satisfaction just being a part of something that's way bigger than I could ever imagine.

What are your personal and/or professional goals?
Family is an essential part of my life. I'm always striving to be a better husband, father and person. On the other hand, I plan on completing my bachelor's degree in criminal justice and one day hopefully become a chief master sergeant.

What is your favorite part of your job?
Securing additional funds. This enables and fortifies our unit capability, which in turn solidifies wing readiness, leading to the overall execution and fulfillment of the Air Force mission.
