Microwave safety recall update Published Feb. 3, 2012 ROYAL AIR FORCE LAKENHEATH, England -- There has been an update to the safety recall for the following microwaves: SANYO EM-C8787B Black SANYO EM-C8787W White Upon further investigation the safety recall does not seem to apply to the Sanyo Black Microwaves issued by the FMO. However, all personnel should still check their Black Sanyo Microwave serial number to be sure. A significant number of the Sanyo White Microwaves do fall into the recall category and must be returned to the FMO. Please check the make/model and serial number of the microwave using the attachment provided. Failure to return the recalled serial numbered Microwaves puts customers at a significant risk of electric shock. FMO will replace on a first come first serve basis, whilst stock last.
