How does the individual portray that core value?
Her duties as a contract specialist are always on-target and on-time. She administered a $198,000 sports officials contract, which enabled 908 RAF Lakenheath and RAF Mildenhall sporting events, ultimately achieving the Air Force's "Fit to Fight" initiative. She was instrumental in the squadrons achieving a successful end to fiscal year 2011, processing 140 purchase requests valued at $15 million, resulting in a 100 percent obligation rate. Her hard work resulted in her being recognized as the Mission Support Group's July to Sept. 2011 Non Supervisory Civilian of the Quarter

Why is serving in the Air Force important to you?
 Serving in the Air Force is important to me because of my day-to-day accomplishments that in turn strengthens ties with my home country here in the UK.

What accomplishment during your Air Force career are you most proud of?
Getting accepted into the degree course at Open University in order to strive towards my Contracting level II certification.

What are your personal and/or professional goals?
 My personal goal is to continue a productive and successful path in the acquisition career field and someday become a warranted contracting officer.

What is your favorite part of your job?
My favorite part of my job is interacting with the various customers I serve at both the 48th Fighter Wing and 100th Air Refueling Wing. I get a real kick out of seeing the services and end-products that I contract for, become a reality in supporting the mission.
