DeGuzman embodies "Service Before Self" as an ALS Instructor who is dedicated to developing the next generation of leaders. As the ALS' Adopt-A-School liaison for Lakenheath Middle School, he led support teams for drama and culinary arts programs, and he played a key role in dedicating the RAF Feltwell Community Center honoring Sgt James A. Ward, VC. Why is serving in the Air Force important to you? Serving in the Air Force is a way to pay back our country for all the privileges and freedoms we are provided as citizens. What accomplishment during your Air Force career are you most proud of? Being selected to serve as an ALS Instructor. It is an honor being able to influence and develop the next generation of leaders. What are your personal and/or professional goals? To complete an honorable and distinguished career, finish bachelor's degree and possibly teach college. What is your favorite part of your job?
