Core Value Portrayed: "Excellence in All We Do"

How does the individual portray that core value?
Sergeant Orchekowski sets a standard for himself and pushes that limit to the extreme. He is responsible for training base personnel for deployment during ECST. He adds to the Security Forces Integrated Defender program by training Airmen from various squadrons on basic SF tasks. He conducts weekly training for security forces to help sharpen skills for deploying Airmen, ensuring they are well trained and ready for action. His attention to detail, work ethic and desire to make everything better showcases his quest for excellence and mission accomplishment.

Why is serving in the Air Force important to you?
I have the opportunity to defend my country and help those who would otherwise be helpless. The Air Force has pushed me further than I ever imagined possible.

What accomplishment during your Air Force career are you most proud of?
The most rewarding period in my career was the six months I spent in Afghanistan and making Staff Sgt. on the first try.

What are your personal and/or professional goals?
To work harder for my wife, and be a good leader for the Airmen who pass through my care, and ensure they continue to raise the bar. In the next four years hope to get my commission.

What is your favorite part of your job?
The absolute best part of my job is watching a student leave my classroom with the confidence to do what they thought was impossible.
