How does the individual portray that core value?
Airman Schreiber's dedication to the mission is unmatched; he consistently strives to go above and beyond of what's expected of him. He has taken ownership and pride in everything he accomplishes. The maintenance data he scrutinizes daily, weekly and monthly is briefed to both the 48th Fighter Wing commander and U. S. Air Forces in Europe headquarters. Upon completion of his 5-level, he immediately enrolled in off-duty classes, donates countless hours to Airman against Drunk Driving and dedicates time to help fellow Airmen improve their fitness.

Why is serving in Air Force important to you?
Serving for the U.S. Air Force is important to me because it's opened my eyes to the opportunity to make a positive contribution to the world. I've been blessed to have a group of supervisors who challenge me to do my best and encourage me to not only strive to develop professionally, but also personally: through volunteerism, education and travel. I'd like to take advantage of all that the Air Force has to offer and use it to broaden my life experience and hopefully, in doing so, enrich the lives of others.

What accomplishment during your Air Force career are you most proud of?
Graduating from basic training was a big day in my life. I remember scanning the bleachers as the ceremony was wrapping up, seeing my parents and brother smiling, and feeling a rush of pride that I'll never forget.

What are your personal and/or professional goals?
Personal: I'd like to learn as much about renewable energy and conservation as possible, obtain a degree in global economics, complete a triathlon and travel the world.
Professional: I'd like to score a 100-percent on my physical training test. I'd also like to learn more about the analysis process and ways in which I can positively influence our mission capability.

What is your favorite part of your job?
As a maintenance analyst, a large portion of my job is computing statistics. Every conceivable detail pertaining to each aircraft on base is tracked, analyzed, recorded and entered into various documents to reflect the health of each aircraft maintenance unit. Making trips out to the AMUs and seeing first-hand the day-to-day operations that contribute to us being the most dominate air force in the world is my favorite part. It's exciting to be able to contribute to our success and inspiring to see the cohesion within the AMU, which makes us a success.
