Sergeant Leiby was hand-picked to lead the MOC team during the operational readiness inspection and NATO tactical evaluation. Sergeant Leiby created multiple new programs and procedures to speed up the flow of aircraft information to the 48th Fighter Wing leadership. Additionally, he also volunteered to be a crosswalk guard and completed two off-duty classes with an "A" average. Why is serving in the Air Force important to you? Because it allows me the ability to protect freedom and help defend an entire country. What accomplishment during your Air Force career are you most proud of? Winning dedicated crew chief of the quarter while in the 494th Fighter Squadron and NCO of the quarter in the 48th MOS. What are your personal and/or professional goals? I would like to finish my bachelor's degree within a year, climb Mont Blanc; and complete a triathlon next summer. What is your favorite part of your job? Fixing problems and helping out the flightline as much as possible.
