Adopt-A-School
The Adopt-A-School Program is designed to encourage units and squadrons to adopt-a-school and volunteer their time in building a positive role model relationship with the Department of Defense Dependents Schools community. Squadrons and units who adopt a specific school will be able to volunteer for various programs, events or activities within the school. For more information, contact the School Liaison Office at 226-5077/5078.

Adopt-A-Classroom
This program is designed for a smal group of people who wish to work with a classroom or in a specific venue of a school, such as volunteering for sports activities or school stores) Individuals can contact the School Liaison Office and indicate what teacher or activity the group would like to volunteer. The SLO will in turn make all the necessary arrangements to set up the opportunity between the desired classroom or activity. Finally, the SLO will re-engage with the small group to pass along contact information. This program allows small groups to become more involved with the children and allows the group to excel in a particular field rather than working on a large scale with the school. For more information, contact the SLO at 226-5077/5078.
