How does the individual portray that core value?
Just a few examples of how Jen portrays 'Excellence in All We Do' daily are orchestrating the 56th Rescue Squadron change of command ceremony. Jen submitted all EPR/OPRs, awards and decorations and Defense Travel System and Government Travel Card accounts for the entire 56th RQS. She is also the Unit Fitness Program manager as well as a mother of two, married to Tech. Sgt. Pete Holtz, 48th Security Forces Squadron. Jen was the squadron civilian of the year for 2009. She also coordinated for rescue mission of the year in 2009, assembling an aircrew at Lakenheath to medically evacuate a sailor in critical condition while the unit was deployed.


Why is serving in the Air Force important to you?
Its in my blood, I was raised by a Marine, and serving your country is the most rewarding job out there.

What accomplishment during your Air Force career are you most proud of?
Assisting the real-world rescue in 2009 and making a difference by saving a person's life.

What are your personal and/or professional goals?
My goals are to raise my kids right, and be a loving mother and wife.

What is your favorite part of your job?

Getting to work with the heroes that fly into hell, knowing the dangers, to rescue an individual they've never even met and epitomize the saying 'These things we do, that others may live'.
