ROYAL AIR FORCE LAKENHEATH, England --  Royal Mail Parking Lot Closure
The Royal Mail parking lot adjacent to the Post Office will be closed from the afternoon of Aug. 13 through the evening of Aug. 18 for repaving. The main parking lot will remain open.

Community Bank Late Opening
Community Bank will be open from 11 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Aug. 18 to allow for staff training.

Duxford American Air Day
Imperial War Museum Duxford will hold its annual American Air Day Aug. 20, highlighting the airpower abilities of the U.S. Air Force and its historic link to Duxford Air Field, which dates back to 1918. The show will consist of demonstrations, displays and flyovers of aircraft and equipment from RAF Lakenheath and RAF Mildenhall. Admission is free for members attending in uniform and discounted tickets will be available from Information, Tickets and Travel. Gate 1 Canopy Construction
Construction for a canopy at Gate 1 is slated to begin Aug. 21. Work will be done from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on weekends through Sept. 19. Personnel should expect diversions and delays on those weekend and are encouraged to use Nathan Gate (Gate 2) during these times.

Boy Scout 'Meet and Greet'
Boy Scouts of America Troop 219 will hold a "Meet and Greet" potluck barbecue at 6 p.m. Aug. 24 at Defenders Park next to Taco Bell. The Boy Scout Program is designed for young men aged between 11 and 18 to learn about various skill sets through Merit Badge work, outdoor activities, and leadership roles. Troop 219 is part of the Mayflower District in the Transatlantic Council.

FMO Closure
The Furnishings Management Office located on RAF Feltwell will be closed Aug. 30 for the British Bank Holiday. For further information, call FMO at 226-7334.

Spouse Tuition Assistance
Applications are now being accepted for the Spouse Tuition Assistance Program (STAP). Visit the Education Office in Building 948 to pick up an application. Take advantage of this unique benefit to overseas active duty spouses. Call 226-3851 for more details.

Child Care Fee Policy Change
New fee ranges for Department of Defense child care have been created and will go into effect no later than Sept. 30. The ranges are based on family income and are as follows:
$125,000+: $137 - $139
$100,001 - $125,000: $134 - $136
$85,001 - $100,000: $131 - $133
$73,501 - $85,000: $122 - $130
$57,751 - $73,500: $106 - $121
$46,201 - $57,750: $91 - $105
$35,701 - $46,200: $75 - $90
$29,401 - $35,700: $60 - $74
$0 - $29,400: $44 - $59

Trespass Notice
The 48th Security Forces Squadron Combat Arms firing range complex that supports RAF Lakenheath and RAF Mildenhall is located at Building 230, RAF Feltwell. The range complex is in the southwest corner of the base and is surrounded by a perimeter fence clearly marked by danger signs. Hours of operation are 7:30 a.m. to 9 p.m., Monday through Friday. When firing is in progress, red range flags or red flashing beacons will be visible from all range complex entrance points. Unauthorized entry to the range complex is illegal and hazardous due to gunfire and airborne lead particles within the complex. DRMO Name Change
As part of a Defense Logistics Agency effort to bring unity to their services, the local Defense Reutilization and Marketing Office at RAF Molesworth is now DLA Disposition Services. No changes in operating hours or services will result. For more information, contact Edward Goldsack at DSN 268-2624.

DANTES Changes
Due to budget cuts, DANTES will no longer fund retests on CLEP and DSST exams. Current exam fees are $80 per DSST, and $120 per CLEP. DANTES will also stop funding certification exams as of October 2011.

Craft Day
Feltwell Community Activities Center is hosting a craft day for families Aug. 18 from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. Crafts include painting and creating sun catchers and stained glass. $5 per child. Materials will be provided by the community center. Call 226-7023 for more information.

Parent Zone
First Wednesday of each month, 12:30-4:30pm. Active duty and dependent parents of children 4-10 are invited to practical, skill-based parenting program that addresses discipline, communication, decision-making, relationships and self control. Program offered monthly at the Airman & Family Readiness Center. Call Family Advocacy Program (FAP) at 226-8070 to register. No childcare provided.

Single Parent Support Group

Information regarding importing vehicles to the UK
The DVLA no longer requires military members to obtain an original hard copy of their insurance certificates for imported registration purposes. Personnel can now print their insurance certificates by accessing their policy online; however, faxed, photocopied or scanned copies are still not accepted.
