One-stop shop Published June 15, 2010 By Airman 1st Class Lausanne Morgan 48th Fighter Wing Public Affairs ROYAL AIR FORCE LAKENHEATH, England -- The 48th Civil Engineer Squadron Self Help store has a wide variety of supplies available to military housing and base facility representatives from RAF Lakenheath and RAF Feltwell. With more than 2,000 square feet of house and building improvement tools, members living in base housing, building mangers and facility managers are given the opportunity to customize their living and work space. Some of the supplies the Self Help store provides are kitchen hood filters, child-proof latches and socket protectors for base housing. The Self Help store also stocks paint, new carpet, new flooring and tools for putting up and taking down walls for building managers who want to improve their facilities. Other improvement supplies available are gardening tools, ride-on lawn mowers and lumber for various projects. View slideshow.
