How does the individual portray that core value?
The first time I met Airman Evans, I asked him what his goals were in the Air Force and without any hesitation he told me that he wanted to be a chief master sergeant. From what I have seen from Airman Evans, he is well on the way in accomplishing that goal. He completely understands the sacrifices Air Force members are asked to make to support our way of life in defense of our nation. He has thrown himself into his upgrade training and just finished his initial quality control evaluation with a very impressive score of 93 percent. Steve is a can-do Airman and I am proud to serve with him.

Why is serving in the Air Force important to you? To serve my country. I enjoy the military lifestyle, the opportunities to succeed and strong family support system.

What accomplishment during your Air Force career are you most proud of? I was pretty excited when I was the distinguished graduate of my class at Security Forces technical school.

What are your personal and/or professional goals? Finish out my CCAF degree in Criminal Justice and then work toward my bachelor's degree. If I don't make the Air Force a 30 year career, I would like to go into The Federal Bureau of Investigation or Drug Enforcement Agency.

What is your favorite part of your job? I like the friendship and the company of my fellow Defenders in my flight.
