Any member having claims for or against the estate of Capt Wilcox, who was assigned to the 100th Civil Engineer Squadron, contact the summary court officer, Capt Jared Casebolt at 226-3902 Paper checks act just like debit cards at AAFES The use of checks at AAFES will become instant, just like debit and credit cards, when the use of 'paper check conversion' is implemented no later than June 6, 2010. Checks will be cashed the instant they are written, so 'floating checks' will no longer be possible. RAF Lakenheath Blood Drive There will be an Armed Forces Blood Drive at the RAF Lakenheath Fitness Center in the main gym on the May 11 &12 from 0800-1600. All blood collected will be used solely for DoD facilities within EUCOM, AFRICOM and OIF/OEF operations. The goal is to collect 300 units in these two days. Withdrawal of the Elgar £20 Note - June 30 2010 The Bank of England is withdrawing the older style £20 notes that show a portrait of Sir Edward Elgar. Holders of these notes may continue to use them until the end of June 2010. For several months after the end of June most banks, building societies and Post Offices will accept the Elgar £20 notes for deposit to customer accounts and for other customer transactions. However, agreeing to exchange notes is at the discretion of the individual institution. The Bank of England will always exchange its old notes. Notes may be presented for payment either in person or sent by post (at the sender's risk) to: Dept NEX, Bank of England, Threadneedle Street, London EC2R 8AH. Hell's Kitchen Part IV The 48th Force Support Squadron will host the fourth installment of Lakenheath's 'Hell's Kitchen' on April 24. Seats will be available for 6 and 7 p.m., is limited to 200 people and is an adults-only event. This competition pits the Liberty Club against the Knight's Table Military Dining Facility to find out who can produce the best five-course, gourmet meal. Health and Fitness Expo The Fitness & Sports Center, Health and Wellness Center, Outdoor Recreation, Youth Programs and Page Community Activities Center will host this year's Health & Fitness Expo April 30 at 10 a.m. There will be free fitness classes, seminars, and games for kids and adults. The annual Ultra Eagle Challenge will be included in this event. Cost for Ultra Eagle Challenge is $20. Ultra Eagle winners will progress to the British Ultra Fit Championships. There will be food booths, static displays, bouncy castles and prizes. The Arts & Crafts Center is looking for vendors to sell handcrafted items at the Craft Show. Cost is $10 per six foot table.
