OHA Utility and MIHA Survey Published March 31, 2010 By Staff Sgt. Connor Estes 48th Fighter Wing Public Affairs ROYAL AIR FORCE LAKENHEATH, England -- The 48th Comptroller Squadron from April 15 to May 14 will have an online survey available to let the Per Diem, Travel and Transportation Allowance Committee know how much is spent on utilities here in the United Kingdom. This is an opportunity to vocalize concerns with the increasing costs of bills, from electrical to water. This is also a chance to let the defense travel office know if the utility allowance received from the Air Force is not enough to pay all of the bills so they can accurately adjust these expenses. "If the new data isn't taken from the survey, then the Defense Travel Office can't adjust the Overseas Housing Allowance, Moving In Housing Allowance and utility allowances," said 2nd Lt. Alan Rodriguez, 48th CPTS Financial Services officer. The survey is open to all service members currently living in privately leased housing who receive Overseas Housing allowance and utility allowance. The survey should take 15 to 30 minutes to complete. It can be opened, closed and re-entered; and progress will be saved for later visits until the survey is completed. All results are submitted in strict confidence. This survey is designed to benefit families throughout the UK.
