Sergeant Pelley's volunteer activities span both the local and base communities. She helped out with the Good Samaritan food drive, as well as various holiday events benefitting terminally ill children and individuals with special needs. On base, she participated in upgrading the Thrift Shop and is an active Air Force Sergeants Association member. Her contracting work and customer service has resulted in receiving compliments from every Group that she has interacted with. Why is serving in the Air Force important to you? Serving in the Air Force has given me more opportunities than I could have ever imagined. I love the challenges it presents and the pride that I feel from serving. What accomplishment during your Air Force career are you most proud of? Being the Air Force Space Command's 2007 Outstanding Contracting Airman What are your personal and/or professional goals? To finish my Master of Business Administration degree prior to leaving Lakenheath and to become the Chief of Air Force Acquisitions. What is your favorite part of your job? Seeing a happy customer after a finished project or completed delivery of a purchase.
