Airman Taylor demonstrates "Excellence in All We Do" through wind, rain, sun or snow. It doesn't matter if Airman Taylor is standing post at the gate or providing installation security while on mobile patrol, she believes in doing her absolute best. She is extremely motivated and shares her knowledge with newly assigned security forces members, ensuring they are trained and performing to security forces' high standards. Airman Taylor is the example of "Excellence in All We Do". Why is serving in the Air Force important to you? Serving is a value that my family and I hold in high regard. It gives both me and my family a sense of pride. What accomplishment during your Air Force career are you most proud of? I felt an incredible sense of pride when I graduated from basic training. I learned that I was stronger and more capable than I had realized. I was proud to join an elite group of Airmen who shared my passion, sense of value and respect. What are your personal and/or professional goals? My goal is to become a first sergeant. I want to be in the position to help military members and their families through good times and times of hardship. What is your favorite part of your job? My favorite part of my job is knowing that I am keeping the base safe while enforcing the law. I enjoy being an installation entry controller, because I like being the first smiling face that people see when they come in.
