Commander: Maj. Cathy Snowball Time in Service: 6 years Time at Lakenheath: 1 year Hometown: Junction City, Ore. Hobbies: Football, volleyball, weightlifting, poker and traveling. Core Value Portrayed: "Excellence in all we do" is a daily way of life for Sergeant Blair. From his customs and courtesies to the enthusiasm he has when teaching his classes, he's all about exemplifying this core value. He loves his job, and it shows. Why is serving in the Air Force important to you? In my current job, I get to work very closely with people of all different backgrounds and issues. I work with them for several months at a time to help them rehabilitate their physical fitness levels. I give people the tools that will help them achieve their health goals. I get to be right there alongside them as they transform their lives. What accomplishment during your Air Force career are you most proud of? My deployment was pretty important to me and to the people that I worked with. I would like to think that I had a positive influence on some of the Third Country Nationals that I worked with while I was escorting them. We had a chance to share our countries cultures and traditions. Another is the amount of the people that I have helped to achieve their goals in the last year that I have been in the HAWC. What are your personal and career goals? I have way too many goals to list here. Some of the more important ones are: Finishing my Bachelor's in Business and Marketing Making technical sergeant next year Travel to a list of countries that I have written down Depending on several other factors, I would like to either put in for officer training school, cross-train into a flying career field, or continue working in the HAWC as a nutrition counselor for the rest of my career.
