48th Communications Squadron Airman exemplifies Excellence in All We Do Published March 26, 2009 ROYAL AIR FORCE LAKENHEATH, England -- Airman 1st Class Jedediah Sherwood, 48th Communications Squadron knowledge operations journeyman, was nominated for the Liberty Spotlight by his chain of command because he practices the Air Force core value of "Excellence in All We Do". His dedication to the mission and single-minded commitment to excellence makes him a stand-out leader among his peers as well as a dedicated follower willing to own his part of the mission. He is professional, highly motivated and he consistently comes up with new ideas to improve our office and the service we provide to the wing. He brings a great sense of morale and integrity to our base records management team and it is a pleasure to be his supervisor. His tenacity and determination to lead from the front benefits not only our unit, but also the Liberty Wing. Being in the Air Force is important to me because it builds my character and I'm proud to serve my family, friends, and my country. What accomplishment during your Air Force career are you most proud of? I am most proud of being nominated as the chairman for the Lakenheath Airman's Safety Council, a benchmark program for the Air Force. What are your personal and career goals? I would like to get my master's degree in US History, become a AF Historian and make CMSgt.
