Knight's Table closure
The Knight's Table Dining Facility will be closed Oct. 18. Meal-card holders may visit the 48th Street Cafe (bldg. 1224, near the flightline) for their dining needs during the closure. 

Legal Office closure
Due to training, walk-in legal assistance with an attorney will not be available Oct. 21 from 9 to 10 a.m. However, regular walk-in legal assistance will still be available Oct. 23 from 2 to 3 p.m. 

Lords Walk closure
Oct. 24 from 9:45 to 10:45 a.m. Lords Walk will be closed from the stop light eastbound L-12 with outriggers extended will take up that entire road due to an environmental/archaelogical site survey. The participants will be on a platform to take aerial site photos.

Senior Airman Jacob Butler estate claim
Effective Oct. 7, 2nd Lt. Albert W. Secrest, 48th Medical Operations Squadron, is detailed as the Summary Court Officer to secure and make proper disposition of the personal effects of SrA Jacob A. Butler, deceased. Anyone having knowledge of money or property due to the deceased or claims against the estate can call 226-0130.

Undergraduate Flying Training open to applicants
The next Undergraduate Flying Training selection board will convene at the Air Force Personnel Center Jan. 13. Applicants should send their completed applications postmarked by Nov. 14. For more information, visit the AFPC "Ask" Web site; search for "UFP." 

British Post Office
At the British Post Office, Airmen can pay everything from gas and water bills to telephone and mail orders. The post office also has the ability to cash and deposit checks to select banks, as well as issue and redeem money orders and exchange currencies. In addition to handling money for Airmen, the British Post Office also sells a variety of insurance, from travel to car and home insurance. Airmen can also get a road tax license issued, as well as a selection of Driver and Vehicle Licensing Agency application forms. For more information, visit the British Post Office.

Survivor Benefit Plan
A military retiree is guaranteed a monthly income for life. However, military retired pay stops on the date the retiree dies. The Survivor Benefit Plan was created to protect widowed spouses and dependent children from complete loss of income. For more information, call 226-3070.

October Pet Fest
