48th Operation Support Squadron embodies Excellence in All We Do Published Oct. 6, 2008 RAF LAKENHEATH, United Kingdom -- Airman 1st Class Samantha Work, 48th Operation Support Squadron intelligence analyst, was nominated for the Liberty spotlight by her chain of command because she portrays the Air Force core value of "Excellence in All We Do." Hobbies: Working out, reading, scrapbooking and volunteering with Club Beyond Core Value Portrayed: Out of all the Air force Core Values, Airman Work most exhibits Service-Before-Self and has accomplished quite a bit since arriving here at the intelligence analysis shop in 2006. Airman Work is responsible for preparing and conducting weekly threat briefings, researching and conducting pre-departure briefings and publishing weekly base intelligence articles. She also serves as one of the squadron's Combined Federal Campaign representative and volunteers her off-duty time at the Base Chapel. Whatever she does, Airman Work has proven to be a team player and always puts forward her best effort to accomplish the Lakenheath mission Why is serving in the Air Force important to you? The Air Force has given me the opportunity to do two things I love, serve my country and expand my knowledge. What accomplishment during your Air Force career are you most proud of? I met my husband and we are a joint military family. What are your personal and career goals? To obtain my Master's Degree in Intelligence and learn how to be a good leader.
