Liberty Wing gets new command chief Published Sept. 25, 2008 ROYAL AIR FORCE LAKENHEATH, England -- Chief Master Sgt. James Lucas, the 48th Mission Support Group Superintendent, has been selected to become the next 48th Fighter Wing Command Chief. Chief Lucas is currently deployed as the 732nd Air Expeditionary Group Superintendent and will assume his new position upon his return in December. His background includes various Civil Engineer duties in major installation facility and infrastructure maintenance and construction. Additionally, he has performed duties in career field management, overseeing the health of three Civil Engineer career fields and has served in numerous squadron and group level superintendent positions.
