48th MOS Airman epitomizes Service Before Self

Staff Sgt. Amber Sellers, 48th Maintenance Group technical order distribution officer, was nominated for the Liberty spotlight by her chain of command because she epitomizes the Air Force core value of "Service Before Self."

Hometown: Davis City, Iowa 

Hobbies: Movie watching, reading, and cooking 

Core Value Portrayed: Staff Sgt. Sellers consistently serves her customers. She spends plenty of hours ensuring that her customers not only receive the proper training, but also that they receive their distribution on-time. This involves many hours outside of work to include off-duty time to ensure that her program is successful. She oversees the distribution and management of more than 18,640 technical orders to the 48th Maintenance Group. Her service is a great credit to herself and an awesome demonstration of "Service Before Self."

What accomplishment during your Air Force career are you most proud of?
Receiving my red X orders so that I serve a larger impact on my Combat Age Team.


What are your personal and career goals? 
Finish bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice and successfully cross train to serve as a Career Enlisted Aviator so I have a closer impact on frontline operations.
