Tech. Sgt. Kevin Buehrer, 372nd Training Squadron, Detachment 16 F-15 maintenance instructor, was nominated for the Liberty spotlight by his chain of command because he demonstrates the Air Force core value of "Integrity First."

Commander:
Capt. Chris Gomez

Time in Service: 10 years

Time at Lakenheath: 6 years

Hometown: Poulsbo, Wash.

Hobbies: Working on cars and snowboarding

Core Value Portrayed: Tech. Sgt. Buehrer's Service Before Self and Integrity is far above any other Airman that I have met in the Air Force. He has great initiative and drive to always do something better at work or to help somebody in any way he can. I wish we had a lot more Airmen like him in the Air Force, it makes being a supervisor so much easier.

- Why is serving in the Air Force important to you?
It's been a family tradition to serve our country. My family has served in every major conflict since WWI.

-What accomplishment during your Air Force career are you most proud of?
The three times I was deployed to the Middle East.
