Utility survey controls OHA Published April 15, 2008 By Utility survey controls OHA 48th Fighter Wing Public Affairs ROYAL AIR FORCE LAKENHEATH, England -- Airmen will be given the opportunity to take part in a survey that will determine how much they are given for overseas housing allowance in the United Kingdom. According to a fact sheet put out by the Per Diem, Travel and Transportation Allowance Committee, full participation by Airmen who live in leased property is critical because the utility allowance for the United Kingdom is updated based on the results of the survey. "The OHA utility survey is your way to report what you actually pay for your utilities," said Master Sgt. Thomas Karrick, 48th Comptroller Squadron Financial Services Flight chief. The data is used to determine the amount of allowance Airmen in the United Kingdom will get to pay their utilities. The survey is only available online and it asks a series of questions pertaining to money paid for utilities and general maintenance on rental properties. The survey can be found here: https://www.perdiem.osd.mil/oha/survey/aproha.html. Sergeant Karrick said people may think the survey is time consuming, but the time put into it will help them in the future. "Without your information the amount you receive may be underestimated. I encourage each of you to take the time and fill out the online survey," he said. For more information, contact finance at 226-2475.
