British Post Office
At the British Post Office, Airmen can pay everything from gas and water bills to telephone and mail orders. The post office also has the ability to cash and deposit checks to select banks, as well as issue, redeem money orders and exchange currencies. In addition to handling money for Airmen, the British Post Office also sells a variety of insurance, from travel, to car and home insurance. Airmen can also get a road tax license issued, as well as a selection of Driver and Vehicle Licensing Agency application forms. For more information, visit the British Post Office.

Scholarship
The Officer's and Civilian's Spouses Club is offering scholarships to spouses who are working towards a bachelor's or master's degree. Applications are available at the Education Center from now until April 4.

Munitions storage area limited service
The 48th Fighter Wing munitions storage area will be available for limited support only from March 3 to 31 to conduct their semi-annual inventory. Emergency issue requests must be justified and approved in writing by the requesting unit's group commander or equivalent. Normal operations will resume April 1. For more information, call 226-1965.

Housing contractors
The housing maintenance contractors, Alfred McAlpine PLC, have officially changed their name to Carillion PLC. The contractors serve RAF Lakenheath, Ely, RAF Feltwell, Shepherds Grove and Waterbeach housing areas. For more information, call 226-6026

Passport price raise
The U.S. Department of State has increased their prices for tourist passports.

Prices:
- Adult Tourist Passport (initial issue): $100
- Adult Tourist Passport (renewal): $75
- Minor Tourist Passport (age 15 and under): $85

Taxes
The RAF Lakenheath Tax Center is open by appointment only. The hours of operation are Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays, 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Wednesdays, 7:30 a.m. to 7 p.m. For more information, call 226-1807.

Airman and Family Readiness Center March courses

Newcomer's bus tour
A newcomer's bus tour is March 28 from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. The tour includes visiting the historical town of Bury St. Edmunds, the cathedral, eating in a pub, shopping and free time to explore.

Pre-separation briefing
A pre-separation briefing is March 25 from 1 to 3 p.m. The class fulfills the mandatory requirement for all personnel retiring or separating from the military.

Spouse Reintegration Briefing
A spouse reintegration training course is March 31 from 1 to 2:30 p.m. This class will discuss potential issues and tips for reintegrating with a returning spouse.

April Fools Day Golf Special
Receive 50 percent off green fees at Breckland Pines Golf Course from March 31 through April 3. For more information, call 226-2223.

Kid's Jewelry Making Class
Children can create their own jewelry at 48th Avenue April 12 from 10:30 a.m. to noon. Choose from a variety of beads, foam, wooden flowers and heart shapes. Parents must stay with children younger than 12 years of age. Snacks and beverages will be provided. Spaces are limited. Sign up by April 10. 2008 Car Show
The 2008 Car Show is April 26 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. To sign up, fill out the entry form at the Auto Hobby Complex. This event is free to all DoD ID card holders. The car show will take place in the 48th Medical Group parking lot. Prizes will be given for best in show, best paint, best custom interior and ugliest car.

Family Bingo
A family bingo day will be held at the 48th Avenue April 13 at noon. Beverages and snacks will be available for purchase. For more information, call 226-4884.

Late Niter at the Liberty Club
A late niter will be held at the Liberty Club is April 18 from 10 p.m. to 3 a.m. at the Liberty Club at Liberty Plaza. For more information call 226-1611.
