Airman Rodriguez performed exemplary during Lakenheath's recent operations evaluation. Thanks to his teamwork and dedication, we were able to cut down the alert team reaction time by almost half. Airman Rodriguez is an integral member of the 493rd AMU. Why is serving in the Air Force important to you? Serving in the Air Force provides financial support for my family and pride for my country. I also want to ensure and protect the freedom I had growing up. There is no other job in the world that gives self pride as well as the opportunity to travel the world. What are your personal and career goals? My personal goal is to continue with my education and earn a bachelor's degree. My career goal is to excel within my AFSC and provide excellent support for my squadron.
