Applications are being accepted for the Tops in Blue World Wide Talent Competition being held Dec. 2 to10. WIC Overseas
Women, Infants and Children Overseas offers free milk, infant formula and other foods to eligible families. WIC staff can answer questions about breast-feeding, starting solids and any other questions. For more information, call 226-1728.

A breastfeeding support group meets on the fourth Thursday of the month at 11 a.m. at the Lakenheath WIC Overseas Office, Bldg 950. For more information, call 226-1728.

Airman and Family Readiness Center Oct. courses

Financial foundations
A Financial foundations training is Oct. 26 from 8 to 9 a.m. The money management class includes goal setting, budgeting, credit and debt management and basic investing.

Newcomer's bus tour
A newcomer's bus tour is Oct. 26 from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. The tour includes visiting the historical town of Bury St. Edmunds, the cathedral, eating in a pub, shopping and free time to explore.

Resume writing and interview techniques
A resume writing and interview techniques class is Oct. 31 from 9 to 11 a.m. The class teaches basic resume formatting with sample resumes as well as interviewing skills and techniques.

How to deter, detect and defend against identity theft
A how to deter, detect and defend against identity theft class is Oct. 23 from 6 to 7 p.m. The class teaches how to defend from identity theft, and what to do if identity has been stolen.

Family Halloween Bash
A costume party and haunted house with dinner is at Eagles' Landing Oct. 24, 5 to 8 p.m. There will be activities, prizes, entertainment, a buffet and candy. Admission is $8.95 per person and $3.95 for age's five to 12. For more information, call Eagles' Landing at 226-3636.

Pumpkin Carving Special
