USAFE Airmen should get ready to tee off Nov. 3 during the fun and unique Project CHEER Glow-in-the-Dark Golf program.

Participating teams have the chance to win one of five cash gift certificate prizes to include: $200-first place prize; $100-second place prize; $50-third place prize; $75 for longest drive and $75 for closest to the pin.

The tournament format will be a four-person scramble shot gun start and clubs from the golf course will be available at no cost. Contact local golf course or Project CHEER coordinator for details.

Project CHEER stands for Creating Hope, Energy, Enthusiasm and Recreation for young Airmen and runs from November through March annually.

The program is designed to provide additional support to single and unaccompanied Airmen ages 18-25 during the winter months and holidays when needed most. The special interest program develops and implements special events and programming that provide Airmen with various opportunities to socialize, relax and enjoy themselves.
