Benjamin Martin in 48th Fighter Wing Judge Advocate' s office for his recent promotion selection to captain. According to a July 27 press release by the Air Force Personnel center at Randolph Air Force Base in Texas, 137 first lieutenants were selected for promotion from 139 officers considered during the 2007A calendar year selection process. The results of the board are as follows: Selection statistics in-the-promotion zone: Chaplain - 1 selected from 1 considered for a 100-percent select rate; LAF-Judge Advocate - 44 selected from 44 considered for a 100-percent select rate; Nurse Corps - 44 selected from 44 considered for a 100-percent select rate; Medical Service Corps - 22 selected from 23 considered for a 95.7-percent select rate; Biomedical Sciences Corps - 26 selected from 26 considered for a 100-percent select rate.
