Lakenheath traffic advisory Published June 20, 2007 ROYAL AIR FORCE LAKENHEATH, England -- The F-100 Super Sabre display near Gate 1 will be moved to building 1219 for maintenance. The Commissary Parking Lot spaces closest to the F-100, will be blocked off for pre-positioning of equipment June 22. All vehicles in the area must be moved. Douglas Ave. will be closed off at the Gate 1 round-a-bout June 23. Traffic will be right turn only from the Gas Station, Taco Bell and park parking lots from 4:30 a.m. to noon. Once the F-100 is ready for transport, Douglas Ave. will be temporarily closed from Gate 1 to the Strike Eagle Complex. During this time, traffic will be directed by the 48th Security Forces. Traffic to and from the Gas Station may be affected. In addition, the first row of the Strike Eagle Complex will be closed. All vehicles in the area must be moved.
