RAF Lakenheath lights up for the holiday season

Service members, families and local community members gathered for the wing's annual tree lighting ceremony Dec. 6. 

in 1923, President Calvin Coolidge lit the first National Christmas Tree, marking the beginning of what has become a beloved tradition in the United States. 

At RAF Lakenheath's ceremony, festive activities were held to foster camaraderie and holiday cheer within the community.
