National Police Week takes place May 15 through May 22. To kick things off, there will be an opening ceremony and softball tournament May 15 at 4 p.m. at the Lakenheath softball fields. Other events include a ruck march May 18 at 8 a.m., starting from the Security Forces Squadron building, and a shooting competition May 19 at RAF Feltwell at 9 a.m. Don't miss out on these great opportunities to pay your respects to our defenders while having fun! For more information, call 226-1739. RUFit? Liberty Airmen are also doing great things outside of RAF Lakenheath. The Armed Forces Men's Soccer Championship is taking place May 12 through May 21 at Marine Corps Air Station Marimar, California, and two Liberty Airmen are representing the All-Air Force soccer team. Staff Sergeant Miles Gravage is one of 18 players who made the cut at the Air Force Training Camp, and Lt. Col. Derrick Weyand, 48th SFS commander, is acting as head coach. The team will compete against other services within the Department of Defense and possibly go on to compete in the 6th International Military Sports Council World Military Games in Korea this October.
