Why did you join the Air Force? I joined the Air Force to travel and experience things I may not have otherwise been exposed to in the civilian world. How does your job support the mission of the 48th Fighter Wing? Weather plays an integral role in the day-to-day operations of the flying community and their entire supporting cast. By providing them with an accurate forecast, they are able to accomplish the training they need to complete their mission downrange. What drives you as an Airman? I truly enjoy the interactions I have with our flyers on a daily basis. Being a part of this mission and seeing the direct impact of our work has always given me a great sense of pride. What skills do you possess that set you apart from others? I'm deeply passionate about my job. I've been lucky enough to forecast for almost every region of the globe, and it has greatly enhanced my ability to produce forecasts for anywhere on the planet at a moment's notice. What has been your favorite place to travel in England/Europe, or where would you like to travel to? Madrid, Spain, has been my favorite. The food, culture and overall atmosphere were amazing.
