Malloch has contributed to the creation of the Elite Volunteer Airmen Corps on Royal Air Force Lakenheath. He has volunteered more than 200 hours, and was recently recognized with the Military Outstanding Volunteer Service Medal. Why did you join the Air Force? I wanted to travel around the world. How does your job support the mission of the 48th Fighter Wing? As a crew chief I ensure that all the jets are mission capable. While I am in support I ensure all equipment is up to date and that everyone gets what they need so that they can ensure all the aircraft are mission capable. What drives you as an Airman? Knowing that what I do ensures my country's safety and freedom. What skills do you possess that set you apart from others? My integrity. What has been your favorite place to travel in England/Europe, or where would you like to travel to? Snowdonia, Wales. I want to go to Transylvania to see Dracula's castle.
