How does the individual portray that core value?
Nailor-Thompson oversees the Medical Services Account program for U.S. Air Forces in Europe's largest hospital and assists with the execution of a $32 million budget. She manages the 48th Medical Group manpower, Government Travel Card and Defense Travel System programs for more than 700 personnel. She has managed to hold the fort down while caring for their two-year-old triplets while her husband, Senior Master Sgt. Nick Thompson, is currently deployed. She has also been actively involved with the Parent Advisory Council and squadron booster club. During this period she was able to manage her duties and hobbies and find time to study and make master sergeant!

Why did you join the Air Force?
I always wanted to serve in the Air Force, so when the opportunity presented itself, I jumped on it. It's been one of the best choices I've ever made!

How does your job support the mission of the 48th Fighter Wing?
In resource management, we manage the budget and manpower to ensure we have the correct skill sets and enough personnel, supplies and equipment to care for 48th Fighter Wing Airmen and their families.

What drives you as an Airman?
My family and friends; their resilience, makes me strive to be better and do better, to continue to grow, and to set a positive example for others to emulate.

What skills do you possess that set you apart from other Airmen?
My time management skills are what set me apart from others.

What has been your favorite place to travel in England/Europe, or where would you like to travel to?
I look forward to visiting Italy during my time here!
