Zachary Melin Release # | 140501 Date | May 7, 2014 On May 9, key members of the local community and RAF Lakenheath personnel will gather at the Eagles' Landing, officers' club for a ceremony welcoming two British nationals into the Liberty Wing family. The base Honorary Commander Program is designed to encourage the exchange of ideas, experiences and friendships between leaders of the local civilian community and the RAF Lakenheath military community. The program pairs leaders with specific units on base, and aims to foster supportive community relationships, and increase military involvement in civic endeavors and organizations.
