When viewed through a lens, life in England -- the castles, landscapes and people -- can turn from moments into memories.

These moments are usually captured and shared with friends and family, leaving skills unrecognized.

Here is your chance to show your true potential as an undiscovered photographer.

The 48th Fighter Wing is giving those wanting to showcase their photography skills a chance to submit their best photos of life in Europe to the new Liberty Top Shot program. This weekly program will crown one as the Liberty Top Shot.

To participate, send photos, along with a brief description of the photo, to libertytopshot@gmail.com. We will compile each week's submissions into a Facebook photo album at www.facebook.com/RAFLakenheath, where we'll ask everyone to 'like', comment or share their favorite photo. In your submission, please provide your full name, age, and base affiliation (rank, squadron, job title if applicable). If you're a dependent, provide your information, as well as your sponsor's rank and squadron.

The photo with the most likes, comments and shares combined on the RAF Lakenheath Facebook page by the end of the week will be the winner. The winner will be featured on the wing's official website (www.lakenheath.af.mil), as well as Facebook (www.facebook.com/RAFLakenheath), Twitter (https://twitter.com/48fighterwing) and Instagram (www.instagram.com/48fighterwing).

The program is open to all base personnel and family members of all ages. Although the photos don't have to be military-related, the images must be in good taste.

Think you have what it takes to be the Liberty Top Shot?
