How does the individual portray that core value? Janicki is a remarkable Airman with drive and determination to outlast her peers. Always a step ahead, Janicki never stops, and no matter how hard the task, she is always inclined to do her part and then some. She continuously shows the initiative necessary to fuel the team, and this behavior hasn't gone unnoticed by her peers. Janicki continuously inspires her coworkers to strive harder and never leaves them behind.

Why is serving in the Air Force important to you? The Air Force is important to me because it has given me so many opportunities to meet so many great people no matter where I go. As the only member within my family to ever join the Air Force, I have found that it has continuously kept me on a path of enlightenment. Every day I learn something new about myself and harness the tools necessary to become a better person.

What accomplishment during your Air Force career are you most proud of? Something that I have done that I am most proud of is my achievements made in public speaking. Before coming to Royal Air Force Lakenheath, I never had the opportunities to teach others on records management and SharePoint. The experience has truly given me a boost of confidence in my abilities and in my role as a knowledge operator.

What are your personal and/or professional goals? My personal and professional goals are to one day be able to give back and take care of the Airmen that will follow in my footsteps. I have come to realize that what matters most are the footprints we leave behind and the things we do to build each other up. That is why my major goal is to one day become a First Sergeant, so that I can do my part within the Air Force.

What is your favorite part of the job? Being able to impact people's lives through the power of records management is my favorite part of the job. Whether I am working on an Operational Instruction or a Freedom of Information Act case; I know that I am helping others achieve their goals. Working with an outstanding team makes it all the more enjoyable.
