Joint Hometown News Service holiday greetings

The Joint Hometown News Service has partnered with Sirius-XM radio to allow service members anywhere in the world to send holiday greetings to their loved ones back home. This is a great opportunity to remind Americans that men and women serve around the world, 24 hours a day, seven days a week. The greetings will be aired on Sirius-XM's Holiday Traditions Channel starting now through Jan.1, 2014. No matter the location, service members can call DSN 312-733-4660 or toll-free at 888-776-2790. From there it's very simple; just state your rank, full name, hometown, where your stationed, and a quick greeting.

Kids on the move

Kids on the Move is a free program intended to help children become more active and change their approach to exercise. The program is offered year-round and is open to children ages 4 -12. Children older than 12 are welcome to participate as volunteers, helpers or team leaders.

Classes are held at the RAF Lakenheath Elementary School. Please see the RAF Lakenheath/Mildenhall HAWC facebook page for this month's calendar, or call 226-2710 or commercial 01638 52 2710.

For more information, contact Fathia Clay at 226-2710 or compiegne98@gmail.com or Jennifer Herling at 226-7161 or Jennifer.herling.ctr@us.af.mil.
